Furry, Furry Foals!

Some more photos of the weaned gang, all are very happily settled, eating well, kicking back and relaxing.  All very keen to have a fuss and a cuddle (foals are such time wasters!)

Weaning!

First five foals weaned today.  Viscacha, Malambo, Chipita and Su have all gone into the "foal hole" after having their feet trimmed and being wormed.  They try to pretend they are traumatised but if you sneak round the corner this is the sight that greets you!!  Munching!

J.R has been weaned straight into a stable as he is sold and will be leaving us before Christmas.

Mark is making me watch the sort of movies where someone hides on the back seat of your car and then leaps out and stabs you to death.  You know there is a good reason I have a two seater car don't you?

Foals November - Malambo.

Malambo's dam has been brought into the barn with a foot abscess so Malambo has been getting some more handling, exceptionally sensible and quick to learn he is a joy to work with, shame the only halter that fits is shocking pink...!!

Little and Large are both still living out happily, very furry and pretty muddy but otherwise bright eyed and bushy tailed!
