Ok I may be addicted...!

The blog has been taken over by the photobooth!  I don't plan it but there is something new every day, from photo bombing blue tits, a windswept nuthatch or a great tit with shoulder pads!

A sea of yellow

Spring is coming slowly but surely, the gorse is in full bloom, lots of lambs about and the blossom is full of bees in the garden (the finches are still picking fights...!)

Fantastic Finches!

The feisty little finches are completely addictive, my favourite photo being of the Siskin and the Blue Tit "err actually I think you will find I was here first" (the next photo on the camera would be of the victorious and slightly smug blue tit!)

Bird Photobooth - Finches

How do they know?  I put out a bowlful of sunflower hearts and the finches came from nowhere, in their masses.  They fought and squabbled, came into the camera in gangs and as I had put the extra battery pack on the photo booth I thought I'd have loads of amazing photos to choose from.  I brought the camera in and it told me there were no photos, I put it back out and it told me the card was full.  I repeated this, then I turned it off and on, then I gave up and reformatted the card, I can only think it was overwhelmed!!  Lesson learnt, with sunflower hearts it goes out for twenty minutes at a time because the finches are busy and hugely good fun.
