Distance Rider Trophy (Presented to the horse and rider combination with the most points)

Storm Trophy (Awarded to horse 16 years and over with highest annual distance under SERC Rules)

Runner Up 

Ashanti Trophy (Presented to the horse with the most points in the current ride season)

Cassidy Trophy (Presented to the rider with the most points in the current ride season)

Keep Moving - Week 8

Had a quick sit on Cactus on Sunday before getting my steps in round Floors.  Work miles on Tuesday including a slight detour to peer at the Ramsey Monument on Penicuik Estate.  Then after a week stomping up and down the railway line I had another sit on Cactus on Saturday and then walked seven miles around Edinburgh, down the High Street, through Holyrood Park and around Newington.

Garden Update!

SERC Argyll AGM

Jessica with Chamfron Colorado won the Buchanan Shield (Horse and rider combination with the highest points) and the Highland Arts Gold Trophy (Most gold heart rates by an Argyll horse).  Jessica ran three of the four Argyll rides so most of her milage was ridden out of her area.

Keep Moving - Week 7

Walk around Dalkeith and the Country park on Sunday and saw some of the Iconic Brick Dino Trail.  Then it was weekday plods along the railway line followed by a day out in Edinburgh on Friday, starting with a trip to Kissa Orwell for Japanese style drip coffee and home made cake.  Served out of an old police box it fuelled us up adequately for a ten mile stroll about town.

Chamfron Updates

Chamfron Toloedo was back out arena eventing, jumping a lovely clear round to finish in 4th place and qualifying for the championships.  Chamfron Agata de Fuego won the Megan Memorial Trophy at the Dumfries SERC AGM which is the most Kms with an unshod horse.  Chamfron Milano is enjoying life with Amanda's son Charlie while he is on his gap year.

Keep Moving - Week 6

We did TREC on Sunday then just back to the general plods, including Gosford Woods, Eildon Hall Woods and Langlee Woods (realised how much hillier my old "easy strolls" in the Borders are than my current walks!)  Cactus is of course loading with absolutely no issues at home however he has picked up a stone bruise so he has just done a little bit of walking in the arena and I've cancelled his next outing.

Cactus at TREC

Cactus went to TREC training at the Drum RDA and he was pretty damn good, then he completely blotted his copybook loading, or rather not loading to come home.  Difficult to know where to go with this now, as he has been in and out the trailer hundreds of times and is usually reliable.  Hey ho, haven't had a vets bill in a while (yes, he needed drugs) and dry January is over with a bang,  I shall ponder this next week.

Rebecca with Chamfron by Dand picked up the Scottish Tourist Board Senior Points Quaich, Highest Distance Trophy, Veteran Horse Trophy and Golden Blaze Award (combination with the most gold awards).
