Chamfron Colorado - Beach trip

Jessica and Colorado had a trip out to Silver Sands of Morar, the beaches are famed for their white sand and views out to the small isles of Rhum, Eigg, Muck and Canna.  Certainly fabulous happy snaps!

Sioux - Colour Shifting

Kayreen Jones's Exbury Ghost filly Sioux, who is out of a Dales mare, winning the Appaloosa class at Rockrose yesterday.  I find Sioux interesting as she appears to be an example of Lp colour shifting on a black base, there is no dun, cream or silver in this filly's pedigree!  Photos by Sinclair Photography.

Chaco had a successful day at the Ann Dunlop memorial show, placing in all his classes and winning the sports horse class.

Well the original Wingscapes Birdcam 2.0 finally gave up completely, sadly as it is one of the few trail cameras to have a white flash which I like.  I've kept an eye out for one on Ebay for a long time but they've been discontinued and sightings have got rarer and rarer over the years.  Needless to say I hit the buy it now button quickly when an unused one turned up the night my one took its dying breath!  I've been house (dog / badger) sitting this week so the camera came with me and I was very excited last night when I got back from work as there were four fat badgers furiously hoovering up peanuts right in front of it!  I will leave it there as the game keeper here isn't keen on them (trail cameras OR badgers!) and hope to get some photos of cubs soon.  

Tigre is Five!

Chamfron Ojo de Tigre was five on Wednesday, unfortunately it was such a foul day he was confined to barracks and his banner was too soggy to stay put!
