Sunday we had did the Woodhall Dean loop, all the write ups for the nature reserve say "visit in May for the Bluebells and Adders" so we did, only saw the Bluebells though! Monday was the bank holiday so we headed off to Cammo nature reserve which was a great success, lovely walk to the tower, along the side of the River Almond, past the airport and then out round some fields. At that point it started to feel similar to work as we admired the Fava beans (no Chianti though!) and peered at some bee hives. Came home to find our neighbour hood bees were swarming. Worked in Perth during the week, saw some lovely scenic spots but sadly not where we were staying. I did manage a walk but it was definitely not photo worthy! Then on Saturday we went to Musselburgh races with Sonya and George and got our steps in wandering from the paddock to the course while sipping Prosecco in the sunshine.
