Spidey on step duty on Remembrance Sunday then a stroll around Melrose and Duns on Monday between appointments. Out walking with work on Tuesday and Wednesday, eleven miles covered in the rain. On Tuesday I convinced my self that it was good to have to go out on a day when I'd struggle to motivate myself for "pleasure" - no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes and all that, by Wednesday I was completely done with the rain and the bottomless ground. Thursday night saw us head down to Lumiere in Durham and another seven miles were done walking round the light installations. The sheep were the stand out stars of the show though at times I also felt we were getting herded like sheep. At one point we were stopped at an archway before going on to a bridge for what felt like a good ten minutes, as time went on people started to push from behind and you had the sudden unpleasant feeling of it not being safe. As Steph had kindly fed the boys on Friday morning we stopped of in Amble and ticked off the majority of the sculptures on the Bord Waalk trail. The local starlings were as bold as brass as well.
