Chamfron Chipita - 24 Months old.

Just received some cracking photos and an update on Chip from Lorna.

"She's been doing brilliantly. She has been bited and slowly is getting used to it more and more but she didn't even worry. She long reins and you can lean over her back and she's all fine, so fingers crossed that being saddled wont be an issue. She's good in all ways and loads into the 3.5 ton lorry like a pro.

I've started her over poles and backing up around poles and trail bridges, and she'll turn on her haunches and forehand. She'll walk over wood and tarpaulins and doesn't care about bags, bikes, dogs, kids, cars, guns, deer, foxes and pheasants are also not an issue now She has days where she's less co-operative, but that's just being young and not concentrating when more exciting things are going on. She has a natural sliding stop and wonderful speed. She floats when she trots and canters and she'll run at other horses in play and body check them if necessary to move them her way. But she's been a companion to some old horses and some Shetlands and she's been great with them, and looks after them all. So when she's out with calm horses, she's calm and gentle if needed and if she's with youngsters of her own age, she can charge around quite spectacularly.

She's growing lots at the moment, she's gone bum high again. She was 14"2 at the wither 3 months ago but her bum has shot up and must be about 15"2."
