*Not our best photo* Sue Ellen and her colt foal Chamfron Olegario headed of to their new home this morning. Olly will join his half brother Chamfron Kukri and his full sister Chamfron Colada with Gemma and was bought as a surprise wedding present by Gemma's husband to be Stuart. Thankfully the secret was kept and they are now happily settled in their new home. It makes me so happy that this lovely mare who owed us absolutely nothing gets to go live with three of her children in a super home *even if she wouldn't pose nicely in her sash* Hope you both have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Chamfron Bellini - County Show win
Chamfron Bellini had a successful day out at the Isle of Wight County show today, winning the youngstock class and second in the world breeds (a big class with ridden horses included). As always beautifully turned out by Natalie.

Summer solstice and stuff
So today is the summer solstice (soon be able to say "the nights are fair drawing in...") a full moon and five months since Mark died. I continue to be incredibly lucky with the friends I have and never a week goes past without an invite for dinner, a random gift in the post or an email from someone telling me they've been riding the horse Mark trained for them and are thinking of us. Todays present of beautiful flowers and chocolates has me absolutely stumped, I have no idea who it is from but am eating the delicious chocolates while I ponder, thank you little people!
Was glad to see Major Tim Peake land safely on Saturday. The launch was one of the last things Mark and I really took an interest in together and he seems such a genuinely good person. It seems utterly inconceivable to me it was six months ago, Breakfast TV asked "how has your life changed in this time?" well...
On a lighter note, it amuses me greatly how many people no longer recognise me "out of context" and can't place me without Mark, I don't let on that this is not particularly great for the ego!

Gung Ho
Marks cousins Lynne and Karen and their husbands David and Barry ran Gung Ho today in the meadows to raise funds for the Alexandria Unit. 5km, some towering inflatable obstacles and a bit of foam to finish up!

Covet!
Driving past this farm always makes me smile! Purple bale wrap is this seasons colour, available from Carrs Billington and being sold to raise money for the charity WellChild.
