Away camping
Jessica and three friends have just completed a three day ride, 75km in total over rough terrain. They went from Ben Alder lodge near Dalwhinnie to Invergarry via Loch Lundie, camping on route.

All my children are growing up!
Chamfron Nicobar (Prickle!) was seven today, he went on his first endurance ride to keep a pal company.
Aberlady Submarines
The midget submarines at Aberlady are XT-Craft, training versions of the X-Craft that attacked the Tirpiz in 1942. When no longer needed in 1946 two of these vessels were towed out and moored to a large concrete block before being used as target practice and gun tests by RAF aircraft. Afterwards they were simply left to rot.
The more southerly of the two submarines is better preserved and you can get a feel of how they would have looked and how cramped it would have been for the four crew mates. Only visible and visitable at low tide!
We also had a mooch at one of the pill boxes hidden in the dunes.

Chamfron Agata de Fuego - 6 year old
Endurance rides have started again and the lovely Aggie finally gets her first outing, absolutely cruising round the 20km at Tinwald. Aggie was such a bright athletic foal so it makes me incredibly happy that she found the right home and a job she loves. Fabulous photos as always from Kris.
