Work miles Monday to Wednesday, sixteen miles but it was all about the hills, the cairns and the changing weather, unfortunately totally snowed off on Thursday. Unexpected bank holiday on Friday (well I hope it was, or it was an unexplained absence from work...) so I hired the indoor arena. Cactus had a fat leg so Spidey stepped up and trekked valiantly through the snow. Taking on board Kevin's comments I tried to ride more forward but the next time I also need to sit up and look up!! It is the first time Spider has cantered in an arena in several years. We then had an evening out in Edinburgh, a rare but very successful shopping trip.
