Keep Moving - Week 36

Glorious sunny Sunday, after a morning diddling up the yard and supporting the charity cake stall we walked off some of the sugar through the woods at Gosford and then back along the beach where the kite surfers were out in force.  Back in the home office at the start of the week so getting in to the routine of a lunchtime walk and an evening hack.  It's been so warm that Spidey even got a small go faster shearing.  Another glorious evening on Wednesday so I headed down to the Borders for a walk around Old Melrose with work friends.  Then Thursday and Friday were back to exploring new hacks on Spider including finding a very useful bridlepath with just one teeny wee drawback... pigs.  Luckily we were able to let sleeping swines snooze in the sun and we stealth crept past them... this time!  Saturday I crewed for Rebecca at the Scottish endurance champs and then went for a walk up to Peniel Heugh / The Waterloo Monument.  Chamfron by Dand had lots of admirers, lots of comments about how lovely it was to see an Appaloosa doing endurance these days.  Things have certainly changed, especially in Scotland where they were once very popular. Finished the week with an evening hack on Spider, work / life balance certainly vastly improved this week with the bonus of wall to wall sunshine.
