Iceland part two

With the weather looking pretty good for the day we headed off to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with no real plan other than to see Kirkjufell “the most photographed mountain in Iceland” and to stop at anything that piqued our interest along the way.  Ticking off Arnarstapi fishing village with the stone monument of Barour Snaefellsas, the mystical guardian of the peninsula, Djupalonssandur black sand beach, Budir black church and Saxholl crater with some added waterfall and Icelandic horse spotting.
