Tizona and Kizmet - the fearless!!

Tizona update from Christine...

"So I bought this ‘hawkeye’ bird scarer for my veggie patch, but before putting it to its proper use I thought I would have some fun with it first.  But my evil plan totally backfired as not only were the girls totally un-scared, they have completely trashed the poor thing so looks like my veg will continue to be pigeon food."

Chamfron Colorado - 37 months old.

Colin now going well under saddle, Mark and I even had a wee sit on him!

Such a good lad!

Chamfron By Dand is hamming it up back at home.  He had been loaned to holidaying members of the Belgian Royal family so they could go hacking while they were in Scotland.  Despite being only four years old I hear he was a saint and they have asked Rebecca if they could have him again next year.

Giddy Whippet!

A smelly sponged off whippet with the sillinesses!!

Chamfron Cactus Jack

Tessa says he's been bitted three times, girthed a couple of times, sat on bareback... never seen a school, never been up this track... hacked out like he'd always done it!!

Acorn Bank Mill

Lovely to catch up with Linda (and the mutts!) at Acorn Bank Mill, near Penrith, today.  Drove down in torrential rain and grottiness and came back with summer and glorious blue skies.  Lion hunting dog Jenga said i wasn't going anywhere unless I'd got some good shots of her!!

A little fat busting!

Andrew brought us up 60 bales of haylage yesterday which takes the pressure off a bit if we don't get our field cut, though fingers are firmly crossed we do!  The sun was still shining and there seems to have been a hatch of these white butterflies.  The two roan foals were clearly planning world domination while Sakura (aka Spotty) is proving she is really half dalmation (she also rolls over to have her tummy tickled but I need an extra person to get a snap of that).  Mark stick and balled Pitufa who is a bit plump round the edges and then the rain started...!
