Another day, another walk. I've totally lost track of what is happening in the current Coronavirus / lockdown situation but non essential shops can open tomorrow and I have got a hair appointment booked for late next month (woohoo!)

Waterloo Monument
Waterloo Monument from Harestanes today, arrived in the torrential rain and left in the torrential rain but got to see the views in the sun. By the time lockdown is over we will have seen the Eildons from every angle and we may come back with the keys for the tower which you can pick up from the Estate office in Bonjedward.

Summer Solstice steps
This is how lockdown weekends pan out these days! At the start of lockdown I didn't do much moving but I have got into a better work from home routine and ten thousand steps is the daily non negotiable minimum (51 consecutive days so far). In the last year I have walked or ridden 1443 miles outside and that translates as 3330744 steps - I can improve on that!
