Su!

Well Su is now about three weeks old and rarely bounces around when I have the camera so I was pretty excited when she came flying over tonight.

I got these three photos while there was a subtle tugging at my shorts, "hello, hello, wouldn't you rather be taking photos of me?"  Then there was a shuffling of feet, Chipita's feet, round to the front of me and  I didn't get any more due to the presence of a furry lens cap!!

Malambo and Viscacha

No point in giving this pair a separate blog as they do everything together, they sleep together...

and when Viscacha gets up, Malambo is "encouraged" to get up too!

They play furiously together, though Malambo thinks he is boss!!

After these photos were taken, Malambo bucked and caught Viscacha fair and square under the chin and she was FURIOUS!!!  Well we all know nothing sulks like a Criollo, and the sulking part she definitely inherited!

Malambo bounced over happily to resume the fun but Viscacha was having none of it and glowered at him until he went away.  Loves young dream not taking a smooth path!

Viscacha was so grumpy she stomped over to see Chipita, "Oh" said Chipita "you don't normally play with me" 

"Your right" muttered Viscacha and stomped off again.

Flying visit!

Visiting mare Beanie (Phalastine Fasoulia) left tonight after a lightning quick visit to Nico, leaving in her wake a terribly heartbroken Cheeko who had been keeping her company in the paddock and acting as teaser!  

Beanie is owned by Omar Rabia local dressage rider and enlightened equitation instructor so we have our fingers crossed for a positive scan and a future spotty dressage horse at Willacy's Stud.

Fluffy...

Fluffy (Real name Molly) has come to be broken in after a very successful in hand career.  She's now going well under saddle though the cantering photos make me giggle "yes I'll go fast, but don't expect me to be happy about expending calories" in true dales mode!

I'll be riding her a bit over the next week to check she's happy with other riders then she'll be ready to go home.  I think she'd be lovely crossed onto Nico, imagine that with a white spotty bum... snigger, snigger, sorry Rose!!

Muley!

Muley had her feet done today and was impeccably behaved so then she had a haircut and that was terrifying, very clipper shy mule that had to run away.  Don't think so dear mule, less of the hideous ignorance, not necessary!!  We left her forelock on as the flies are just so bad but I must admit I don't like it so we may well have another clipper discussion in the next few days.

I thought she was looking very well and she is exactly the same to ride, however long she has had of.  Now we need to find a wee outing for her!!
