Near Miss...

We admitted defeat yesterday, our Christmas tree in a pot was clearly very deceased.  Mark pulled it out the pot to put it on the bonfire and disaster a nest fell out, chicks everywhere.  He quickly threw the tree back in the pot, gathered everyone up and backed away quickly.  Happily everyone is alive and well twenty four hours later.

Peaches - Week One

She can be ridden to the pen, even in the wind, close the gate behind her and has had a wee trot (camera battery had given up the ghost by then!)  Not exactly T-shirt weather today, brrrrrr.
