Fly By

The last two days this Lockheed C-130J Hercules ZH880 has cruised around the horses field (while they snoozed!)  I grabbed the camera today as she came straight back up the driveway looking magnificent  She is from the Royal Air Force 47 Squadron and is painted in a special 100th anniversary colour scheme.  I believe this was one of the aircraft that was used in the Queens's 90th Birthday flypast last month.

Happily settled

Olly seems more than happy with Gemma, demanding butt scratches and investigating carrots.  I love the photo of him and his big brother and sister "were we ever that small?"

The ginger ninjas getting bigger

With Olly away to his new home I am now down to my five little ginger friends, as the sun set tonight they developed a firm case of the sillinesses, lots of bouncing and charging about.  The more grown up and left home versions however are peaceful and happy.  Ombu is thrilled to be allowed to join outings and see the world and Rosa is a picture of contentment with her (all be it fitter than before she arrived) Alpacas!
