A bit moderate!

Well it rained, not much more to say than that really, as Mark says "when your field is greening up and you haven't baled its not a good sign"! Still it is baled now, 103 bales I believe, it looked absolutely fabulous on Sunday night but no use crying over spilt milk (and soggy grass).

Mark worked Mouse around the bales tonight, giving the retired horses an opportunity to do their "We Three Kings" impression, they do prove to be harsh critics though. Mule is missing from the herd as she decided yesterday the cut field looked far superior to the one she was in. The first time she moved she was spotted (I asked Mark why he had the binoculars out "looking at your bl**dy mule on the wrong side of the fence") caught and returned, the second time she ended up in the fence. The clue was the sad honkey donkey noises she was making, a mule with grass up to its lugs does not make sad heee haws. Once extracted from the fence she was placed in a stable for her own safety, she is unamused.
