I have started some very casual "turfing" - Turf is a Swedish game based on you collecting GPS points when you are out and about, those "turfs" get you points, medals and rankings. Now there are people who take their turfing very seriously, clocking up 100km a day (and / or night) on their bikes and racking up huge scores. I'm not one of them but it has encouraged me to go exploring. We visited Dalkeith Country Park on Saturday and then I walked around the Bowmont Forest today. I have it ear marked for a trip out in the (yet to be purchased!) trailer for Spidey.
