Postie arrived at the door with parcels but the first thing he handed me was our wreath,
"String's broken"
"Ah ok, no worries, I'll get that sorted" 
"You mean you'll ask your husband to" (no question mark, it was a statement)
"Err no, I should manage it ALL BY MYSELF" (obviously this is accompanied by "The Look")

(Different older man...)  Has told me there is a nice big space at the end of the road where I can get the car turned (driving past the smaller space the Ignis could do the bloody Conga in, to get to it)

Sigh, when does this shit ever end...

Crochet Christmas - Roslin

Christmas is in the air...

The wreath is on the door and the pony is in the snow!  I aimed for a pony selfie but the result was "you look like a thumb" - Craig stepped in, the pony smiled, the perfect selfie was achieved...  Earlier in the year a Chamfron owner posted "my pony set up is ideal for the horses even if it is not for me" and that was an eye opener.  I loved the other liveries on the old yard and the friendships but my pony was a neurotic heap, he loves living out with his pals, he is fat and fluffy and he is happy.  Maybe I will ride him again and maybe I won't but he owes me nothing.  We went up to Humbie Church tonight, wandering round the graveyard we were met with " go in, see the Christmas lights, lock up when you leave..." so we did.

Chamfrons in December

Chamfron By Dand looking well and admiring himself.  Chamfron Bellini had a dressage outing decked in tinsel, she did win the Medium, however in the interest of full disclosure they were the only people out braving the cold!  Jessica did another fabulous festive photo shoot with Colorado (and some sheep, the sheep were awesome!)
