Chamfron Belinni - Romsey Show

Belinni had an outing to the mainland today and was 2nd in the worlds breed class and best youngstock.  Beautifully turned out as always and I'm told beautifully behaved.

Foals - September

Field Move

Quick field move for the herd today, they were pulling off their moves - some classy, some less so!  Pookie was her usual Pookie self, twenty plus acres of new grazing but "he has a halter, he might need me" - got to love a horse with a work ethic!

Breaking Update - Zeus and Mac

Zeus is now cantering in open fields and braving the windmill, it sits quietly until young horses pass then it groans and moans!  Mac is starting week three and had his first canter under saddle today.

Pink Ponies

Quintana and Aggie are looking very pretty in pink.  Add Almendra and Rosa and you have the most incredible matching polo string, they would be as useful as they were striking.  Wouldn't that be some sight?

Chamfron Kahlua - 40 months old

Sat on twice and then ridden three times before going back out in the field until next year.  Looking quite exciting for 2016!

Breaking Update - Zeus and Pookie

Zeus is coming to the end of his fifth week and is working quietly in open fields.  Pookie has been sat on four times and is happily walking and trotting in the outside pen.  Considering how bum high she is we would happily of turned her back out at this point but today she decided the mule was her new BFF (many horses that don't get clingy with other horses get ridiculously attached to Treacle).   She had a little bounce about leaving her and was ridden to the background tune of shrill neighs and honky donk replies so I want a more relaxed outing before we stop.
