Another great update on Tizona from Christine and some photos showing her colour change from her winter coat in January and shedding out in April. Christine said she'd grown in to her rawhide bridle and well, it would of been churlish not to have tried her saddle on too wouldn't it? Needless to say Tizona wasn't at all bothered by it.

I love the dramatic seasonal changes you get with roan horses and ponies. Tizona is a lovely example. What type of saddle is she modelling? It looks comfy for the rider, and hopefully for the horse? The stirrups are very different though. Are they easy to get used to?
Its a Recado, I have one but I didn't use it much last year as I didn't want to get it wet!!!! I shall let you know how I get on with the stirrups. I would imagine they are very comfortable for the horse, plenty of pads used with them. Christine has a few for sale if you are tempted...!!!
